1156 rare books uploaded to the website

Chennai, March 9: International Institute of Tamil Studies (Ulaga Tamil Aaraichi Niruvanam) that is under the control of Tamil Development Department uploaded its 1156 rare books, this effectively help all the Tamil activist and Tamil researchers all over the world.

During the Grant request of Tamil Development Department for the year of 2018-2019 announced that ‘Digitalization of all the rare books (2,18,558 pages of 1156 total book were digitized) in the International Institute of Tamil Studies will be done’.

These books were uploaded in website www.ulakaththamizh.in by Ministers Mr D. Jayakumar and Mr K. Pandiarajan at a function in Taramani on Saturday. Besides the Ministers also opened the Dr. MGR statute in the International Institute of Tamil Studies campus.

Singapore, January 15, 2012: The method of god worship had been made computerized in Sri Veeramakaliamman temple is one of the oldest temples in Singapore. This change was because of SRI VMT a product from Refulgence Inc Pte Ltd. Since this is the most popular temple in Singapore, it holds a considerable measure of celebrations, poojas and capacities occur consistently and countless devotees partake in them.

Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam initiated the application functioning at a grand ceremony. This app can be installed on Android, iPhone mobile phones.

By installing this application on their mobile phone the association members can receive instant messages and notification.
